NEXT UP 4TH ANNUAL COCONUT SHOOTOUT
FUEL at Jamaica Raceway
-All Classes are required to use standard 87 Octane pump gas. Gas will be tested with a Digatron Fuel Tester and given a range of +10 or -10 points from the standard 87 Octane track sample taken weekly from the Kum and Go in Perry ON HWY 141. This is a wide range and all fuel samples tested are required to be within this range. If you are uncertain of your gas, have it tested during practice to avoid disqualification.

Attention Gas Class Racers
Jamaica Raceway rule update effective immediately: 87 Octane Pump Gas Only. Ethanol blended 87 Octane will not be permitted.
It has come to our attention that there are now two different types of 87 Octane gas available at some gas stations. One contains ethanol and the other does not. The gas containing ethanol tests more than 2.5 times the acceptable range and will not be allowed going forward. The addition of Ethanol Blended 87 Octane Gas available at the pump necessitates a rule update. We will continue using the same testing procedure allowing racers a range of +10 or -10 points variance from the track fuel sample. This is very lenient than other track's rules. Standard 87 Octane gas usually tests within a range of 2 points.
